| Gram Flour | 2 tbl sp |
| Coriander Leaves | 2 tblsp |
| Cumin Seeds | 1/4 tsp |
| Salt | to taste |
| Oil | to deep fry |
Cooking Steps
- Heat oil in a pan(preferably non stick),splutter cumin seeds,add onion and saute till it changes colour.
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes off.
- Add chilli powder,turmeric powder,salt,garam masala and fry for a minute.
- Now add mashed potato and chopped coriander and mix it.
- Mix gram flour/besanflour/kadalai mavu in water and pour this over the potato masala.Give it a good stir till it blends well with potato and becomes dry.
- Spread this in a tray for about 3/4 inch thickness and referigerate for an hour.Then cut them into desired shapes and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
- Excellent tea time snack.
- Can be served with mint chutney.
- A yummy snack.The taste was out of the world with hot and sweet chilli sauce.
- While adding gram flour,stir well from all the sides as it will stick to the sides.Using a non stick pan helps in this process.
- Drop the cutlets in hot oil,else it may dissolve when dropped in oil.
