Lady's Finger/Okra/Vendaikkai/Bhindi Stir Fry


IngredientQuantity
Lady's Finger300 g
Onion1
Chilli Powder1/2 tsp
Oil1 tblsp+1tsp
Mustard Seedsto splutter
Saltto taste

Method

  • Trim the edges and chop okra into small pieces.Heat one tablespoon of oil and fry okra till they turn slightly brown.Transfer this into a bowl.
            
  • Heat oil in a pan,splutter mustard seeds,add onion and fry for a while.Add salt and chilli powder.
  • Now add fried okra and saute for few minutes.

  • Tastes great with plain rice,curd rice..
  • While frying okra,keep the flame in medium.
