| Ginger Garlic Paste | 1 tblsp |
| Green Chilli | 2 |
| Curry Leaves | few |
| Turmeric Powder | 1/8tsp |
| Roasted Gram Powder | 1 tblsp |
| Oil | 2 tsp |
| Mustard Seeds | to splutter |
| Salt | to taste |
Cooking Steps
- Heat oil in a pan,splutter mustard seeds,add onion,green chilli and curry leaves and saute for a while and then add ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell goes off.
- Now add turmeric powder,chopped tomatoes and fry till tomatoes become mushy.
- Mix roasted gram powder in water and pour into this.Bring it to a boil and finally add mashed potato and salt.
- Powder roasted gram(pottu kadalai/daria dal)and store in an air tight container and use whenever needed.
- Prick potatoes with a fork and microwave for 5 minutes.
