Ingredients
Channa dal - 1/2 cup
Sweetcorn - 1/2 cup
Green Chilli - 1
Onion - 1
Ginger - 1"piece

Coriander Leaves - 1/4 cup
Curry Leaves - few
Aniseed - 1/2 tsp
Khus Khus - 1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - to deep fry

Method
- Soak channa dal for half an hour and grind it along with aniseed,khus khus,ginger,chilli,curry leaves and salt.
- Add all other ingredients and mix well.Make small balls,flatten gently between palms and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
Little Words
- An excellent teatime snack crunchy outside and soft inside.
- I added one tablespoon of gramflour since the mixture was a little watery after adding greens.
- You can use either fresh or frozen corn.
- Yellow split peas can be used instead of channa dal.
