Ingredients
Potato - 3
Jeera Powder - 1/2 tsp
Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - 1 tblsp
Coriander leaves- to garnish
Method
- Cut potato into small cubes and cook in a pan of salted boiling water for ten minutes.Drain and add pepper powder and mix.
- Heat oil in a shallow frying pan and add the poatao cubes.Sprinkle jeera powder and toss it gently.
- Fry this over medium flame tossing gently till golden brown on all sides.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
Little Words
- Do not overcook the potatoes.It may get mushy.
- Sprinkle little more salt while frying if needed.
- Nice combo with sambhar,rasam,curd...
- Roast a teaspoon of jeera and grind it to fine powder to get fresh powder.
