Ingredients
Basmati Rice - 1 cup(soaked for 20 m)
Jeera - 2 to 3 tblsp
Ghee - 1 tblsp
Star Anise - 1
Bay leaf - 2
Cinnamon - 2" piece
Cardamom - 3
Clove - 4
Salt - to tasteWater - 1& 1/2 cup
Method
- Heat ghee in a pressure cooker,add whole spices and add jeera and fry it for a while.Add water,salt and let it boil.
- Add rice and close the lid and wait for a whistle or simmer for six to eight minutes.Switch off the flame.Open the lid once pressure is released and fluff with a fork.Serve with any side.
