Ingredients
Paneer - 150 g
Gram Flour - 1/3 cupAjwain - 1/4 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1/4 tsp
Salt - as required
Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida - a pinch
Corn Flakes - 1/2 cup(crushed)
Oil - to deep fry
Method
- Mix gram flour,chilli powder,cumin seeds,ajwain,salt and asafoetida.Add required water and make a batter slightly thinner than bajji batter.Meanwhile heat oil in a kadai to deep fry.
- Cut the paneer into finger length pieces.Dip the paneer fingers in the batter and roll in crushed cornflakes.
- Prepare all the paneer in the same way.Once the oil is hot,fry them gently turning the other side.The paneer croquettes will be ready in three to four minutes.
