Ingredients
Rice - 1 cup
Chickpeas - 1/2 cup(soaked previously & pressure cooked)
Cabbage - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1

Aniseed - 3/4 tsp
Khus Khus - 1/4 tsp
Clove - 2
Cinnamon - 1"piece
Cardamom - 2
Green Chilli - 2
Chilli Powder - 3/4 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Curry Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Leaves - 1 tblsp
Mint Leaves - few
Oil & Ghee - 1 tblsp
Salt - to taste

Method
- Heat oil and ghee in a pressure cooker.Add aniseed,khus khus followed by cloves,cardamom,cinnamon,green chilli and onions.Then add tomatoes and turmeric powder.
- Add cooked channa and chopped cabbage,mint and corinder leaves and give it a mix.
- Now add chilli powder,curry powder,salt and required amount of water.Bring this to a boil and add soaked rice and simmer for eight to ten minutes and serve with raita.
