Crispy Creamy Sandwich

Prep Time:2 m       Cook Time:10 m
Serves:2

Ingredients

Bread      - 3 slices
Icecream - as desired
Ghee       - 2 tblsp

Method

  • Remove the edges of the bread slices and cut them into halves.Heat ghee in a pan or tawa and toast the slices on medium flame until they are golden brown and crisp.

       

  • Now let them cool slightly and place a tablespoon of icecream,spread  and cover it with another slice.Repeat this for one more layer with icecream and relish the crispy softy texture of the sandwich.

  •  Yummilicious and quick dessert so easy to make.
  • Spread icecream at the time of serving and let the toasties to cool slightly.
  • Use fruit jam for the second layer if desired.

Crunchy Sandwich


Prep Time:5 m       Cook Time:10 m
Makes:2

Ingredients

Bread Slices - 4
Carrot           - 1(grated)
Capsicum     - 1
Onion           - 1/2
Ghee/Butter - to brush

Method

  • Grate the carrot and chop the capsicum finely.Slice the onion horizontally and separate them into rings or use as such as desired.Heat a tawa.Take a slice of bread and spread carrot over it.Top with capsicum and onion.Cover with another slice and cook both sides till golden brushing little ghee or butter.
                                    
                                          
       
  • Cut them into halves and serve with any sauce.

Capsicum Paneer Sandwich

Prep Time:10 m     Cook Time:15 m
Makes:4

Ingredients

Bread Slices     - 4
Capsicum         - 1/2
Onion               - 1/2
Ginger Powder - 1/4 tsp
Paneer              - 1/4cup
Salt                   - to taste
Oil                    - 1 tsp

Method

  • Heat oil in a pan and add onion and saute for a while.Then add sliced capsicum,salt,ginger powder and saute for three minutes.Lastly add crumbled paneer and give it a mix.Place the paneer capsicum mixture on a bread slice and cover it with another.Place it in a sandwich toaster or on a hot tawa until golden in colour.Cut into triangles and serve.

  • Any colour capsicum can be used.Other vegetables can be used as well.
