Mushroom with toast

Mushroom egg toast


Mushroom(thinly sliced)300 g
Ghee/clarified butter1 tsp
Pepper Powder2 tsp
Bread 6 slices
Salt  to taste

Preparation time:10 m
Cooking time:15 m

Cooking Steps

  • Heat ghee in a pan and add thinly sliced mushrooms.Add 1tsp pepper powder and saute for 5 minutes.
  • Add salt,cover with a lid and cook till the mushroom becomes juicy.
  • Then add eggs.Wait till the white settles down and then scramble the eggs so that eggs blend with mushroom.

  • Serve with any bun or bread.

Sweet fingers


Wheat flour1 cup
Sugar1 cup
Oilto deep fry
Lemon juice1 tsp

Cooking Steps

  • Knead the flour into a dough(like poori dough).

  • Make small balls,roll them and cut into finger length strips.

  • Meanwhile heat oil in a pan for deep frying the strips.At the same time in a vessel add sugar and water just enough to wet sugar and prepare the sugar syrup to one thread consistency.Add lemon juice to avoid crystallisation of sugar.

  • Drop the strips into hot oil and fry till they are golden brown.Soak them in the sugar syrup for a minute and transfer them to a storage bowl.

Little words

  • Make a stiff dough,otherwise it may absorb oil while deep frying.
  • Fry the strips in medium high flame to get crunchy fingers.
  • Do not leave them for a long time in sugar syrup.
